I go by the artist name Kitsu or Awkitsu and I'm currently a full-time Art Producer & Artist for Neopets and their various brand products, as well as occasionally running my personal business Awkitsu selling art and products online & in-person at conventions.
Within the past two years at my company, I've focused more on optimizing pipelines, documentation & resource management for Live Ops monetization features, as well as the planning & tracking of art tasks amongst an art team of 12+ artists. I've learned I'm extremely passionate about game monetization, optimization and planning in general, possibly a bit more than creating the art!
I love learning new things & draw a lot of my artistic inspiration from video games, fantasy, animals, skies and just neat things in the world around me. I've been passionate about creating things ever since I can remember and am always continuing to learn, experiment and grow!
I specialize in drawing little creatures, anything involving color theory, and also enjoy creating products, UI / UX web design & CSS / HTML. When I'm not making things, I play a lot of League of Legends, TFT, Pokemon & Overwatch 2~!

3+ years in planning, producing, providing feedback for, and documenting 2D art assets for brand consistency standards., as well as enhancing team coordination pipelines.
2D DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION
10+ years of experience in personal and freelance digital Illustration, for clients like Upper Deck, as well as 2D game art experience within a studio and some 2D animation experience.
AGILE-BASED PLANNING
3+ years working in an agile-environment within Jira & Confluence, creating, managing and overseeing the pipeline of task tracking across an art team of 12+ members. Light experience with JQL.
GRAPHIC / VISUAL DESIGN
10+ years in Graphic Design for various branded assets, including web and print format, social media graphics, pre-production, product design, event design, as well as work comfortably with raster & vector based graphics.
GENERAL PROFICIENCIES
Excellent verbal & communication skills, proficient in Adobe & Microsoft Products, some video editing software, as well as proficient in Web HTML / CSS.
Also experienced with marketing, social media management and tracking + analyzing monetization data through Quicksights.
